Terms of Use

Effective October 1, 2026

These terms cover your use of the Plume app, made by Geddes Ventures LLC ("we"). By using Plume you agree to them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

1. Using Plume

Plume lets you scan, organize, and keep your family's artwork, and turn it into a printable book. You're responsible for what you scan and how you share it.

2. Your content

Your drawings are yours. They're stored on your device and in your Photos library if you allow it. We don't claim any rights to them and we don't have a copy.

3. Cost

Plume is free to download and use, including unlimited scans and the PDF book. If we ever add paid features, prices will be shown clearly before you buy anything.

4. Backups

Plume saves your art on your phone and, if you allow it, in your Photos. If you lose your phone without a backup, we can't recover your art because we never had it. Keep iCloud Photos or another backup turned on.

5. Books and printing

Books are PDF files made on your phone. Printing is done by whatever service you choose, under that service's terms and prices.

6. No warranty

Plume is provided as is. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will be error-free or always available.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Geddes Ventures LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of Plume. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Plume in the past 12 months.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use Plume means you accept the update.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
